Dear friends,
The spring semester is soon coming to an end, in Ethiopia its mean that the rain-season start and that also end our “soul winning season”. This semester has bean very intensive but also very effective, we had graduation of our local trained missionaries for unreached tribes, send them out to plant churches, baptised new believers in newly planted churches in the unreached tribe of Borana and we successfully finished three crusades.
Mercy Ministry
The Love of God to the poor people of Ethiopia! The women’s have soon fulfilled this one year course we offer them at the project. They have learned to bake different cakes and also to saw some simple things with sawing machine or just with a needle. They have learned to interact with people and to serve in the café. But most of all they have learned to know Jesus on the daily devotions and now we had a great baptism for this woman’s.
Borana Tribe
In our ongoing mission work in the unreached Borana tribe we graduated about 150 newly trained missionaries and we send them out to start new churches in settlement after settlement aiming to bring Jesus to the entire Borana tribe, more than five million people. We had also the great privilege to come to one village where our missionary started a church some time ago and do the baptism for some new-converted Borana people. It’s wonderful to hear this people who have bean animists for several thousands year saying “Jesus is my Lord”
Crusades
Karl build up a fully loaded crusade team with all the equipment needed to run crusades all over Ethiopia and when God spoke about transition he did not asked us to stop doing crusades. The God given solution was to make partnerships with other evangelist and ministries; we invite them as our guests to Ethiopia and offer them to chare the platform. They pay most of the actual cost for the advertisement, printing of posters and handbills and we give our equipment and staff, together we reach the unreached and vision God gave to Karl Hargestam “One chance for Every person” still goes on…

GELDU
In the first week of March we did a crusade in a place called Geldu, west region of Ethiopia. This event was a partnership with Good News Mission and the Swedish evangelist Mikael Alvén.
The crusade came to great success for the kingdom of God, the darkness needed to back up for the glory of the king of light. Four days of crusade and we gathered day after day several thousand people, for Sunday the crowd had grown and to around 60 000 people, about 20-25 000 signed up to follow up classes with the local churches. Jesus poured out His love and He stretched out His hand and healed many who were sick.
This Lady had swollen legs for 20years, now she healed. A great joy on the field
SOLEMO
Few weeks later in the end of March, we did another crusade in partnership with Mission in Focus and Stefan Edefors, also he a Swedish evangelist. Solemo is located in a very remote aria on the top of a mountain in the south of Ethiopia; to get there was big challenge but the grace of God and our passion of giving one chance for every person made it possible.
Five days of crusade, and the last day more than 100 000 people came to celebrate Jesus and His miracle working power.
CHICKO
Together with Kings Ministry and evangelist Daniel King from US we did the last crusade for this season in April.
Even thou Jesus did many miracles among the people it was a big spiritual resistance in Chicko. An ancient ruler of the region put a spell on the people of Chicko about 150 years ago because they killed his son who was a very wicked person. Still today the people of Chicko sacrificed cattle’s in order to break the spell. So they did only a few weeks before we come there. We preached about another ruler that also had His son killed, but His death resulted in breaking all the spells and curses.
So many people were attacked by cancer tumours and different growths on there bodies, when we saw that the curse over the city was broken, hundreds of people came testifying that tumours had left them.
Jesus removed a tumour big like fist from this girl neck.
Now we are busy planning and preparing the next coming season of crusades, starting in October. Many more places need to be penetrated with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the vision “One chance for every person” will be fulfilled.
